Downtown Richmond’s Browns Island on the James River was the site of Virginia Pridefest, where organizers estimate 40,000 people attended the celebration from 12-8 p.m. on Saturday, September 28.

Attendees braved oppressive heat to show their pride, socialize, learn about area resources and enjoy the talent provided during the day, culminating with headliner Betty Who. You may recognize some familiar faces in the photos below if you attended the Commonwealth’s last pride celebration until Spring 2020.
